Lisa Franklin
Legal Assistant
30 Years with Tupperware Brands Corp.
Where were you born?
Atlanta, GA
What are three words people have used to describe you?
Dedicated, Dependable, Loyal
What is your greatest personal achievement?
Ability to overcome obstacles by maintaining a positive attitude.
Describe three things that make you proud to be a Tupperware Brands Associate?
Our corporate identity (educate, enlighten and empower) and ideals in support of women. Our powerful brand name. Being a global company and our footprint in the development of so many countries.
What is your greatest memory of working at Tupperware Brands?
We used to build structures out of Tupperware as motivational icons for our sales force. It was fun to see all the associates band together to work on those projects. One year we bussed to the beach to create the world's largest kite-flying video. The wind died down that day and we ended up having to use a helicopter to get the kite up, but the video was still sensational.
Knowing what you know now, what advice/wisdom would you share with a new associate?
Network with other departments. Learn who does what. Join and/or volunteer. Greet each other in the hallways and share that "family" experience. Immerse yourself in what "makes" the company; its values...its history.
If you had the opportunity to do it again, what would you do differently and why?
I would have continued with my education or sought certifications sooner. I still haven't reached my full potential!
